What is a white label digital marketing agency?
A white label digital marketing agency does the specialist work behind another agency's services. The reselling agency keeps the client, sets the price and presents the work as its own. The white label partner stays in the background, doing the planning, building, optimisation and reporting. It lets agencies offer services they could not otherwise staff, without the cost and risk of hiring.
Web Zodiac is a performance marketing agency founded in 2018 in Noida, India. We already run paid media accounts behind the scenes for agencies, alongside our direct clients. Our white label work focuses on paid channels and the measurement that makes them profitable: white label Google Ads, white label Facebook and Meta ads, tracking and landing pages. For an overview of all our partner services, see white label PPC for agencies.
Who this is for
- SEO, web design and branding agencies whose clients keep asking for ads.
- Marketing agencies at capacity that need more hands without hiring.
- Consultants and fractional CMOs who want a reliable delivery team.
- Agencies entering a new channel such as Meta ads or Performance Max.
- Agencies that lost a paid media specialist and need continuity for clients.
How white label performance marketing works
Your client sees your agency. Your agency owns the relationship, the pricing and the invoices. We work through access you give us, follow your brand and reporting style, and stay invisible unless you choose otherwise.
What makes white label paid media profitable for an agency
Agencies usually charge clients a monthly retainer and pay the white label partner a lower fee, keeping the difference. The real margin also depends on how much time your own team spends on calls, approvals and reporting. Model it with your numbers:
White label margin calculator
White label partner or in-house hire?
| Hire in-house | Freelancer | White label partner | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost structure | Salary, benefits, tools and training, paid whether or not you have clients | Hourly or per project | Fee per account, so cost grows only as you win clients |
| Time to start | Weeks or months to hire and train | Days, if someone is available | Days |
| Coverage | One person's skills and hours | One person, often across many clients | A team, with cover for holidays and sickness |
| Process and reporting | You build it | Varies by person | Set process, branded reports |
| Scaling up or down | Slow and costly | Limited by one person's time | Add or remove accounts as clients come and go |
| Best when | You have steady, high volume in one channel | You need occasional help | You want to sell paid media without building a department |
Pricing models
| Pricing model | How it works | Suits |
|---|---|---|
| Flat fee per account | One monthly fee for each client account, based on the work involved | Agencies that charge clients a fixed retainer |
| Percentage of ad spend | A share of the client's monthly ad spend, usually with a minimum fee | Larger or growing budgets |
| Setup plus monthly | A one-off fee to audit, rebuild and set up tracking, then a monthly fee | New accounts or accounts that need a rebuild |
| Project | A fixed price for an audit, a launch or a tracking setup | One-off needs, or testing a partnership |
We quote after seeing the accounts, because the work for a single-location service business is very different from a multi-country ecommerce store. Our fees leave room for your margin; use the calculator to check the numbers for your agency.
Onboarding, step by step
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Intro call | We learn how your agency works, your clients and how you want us to appear (fully invisible, or as part of your team on calls). |
| 2. Agreement and NDA | Scope, pricing, response times and confidentiality are agreed in writing. |
| 3. Access | You give our team access through your agency's own manager account or business portfolio, so the client relationship stays with you. |
| 4. Audit | We review each account, its tracking and landing pages, and share findings in your format. |
| 5. Plan and launch | You approve the plan with your client; we build or rebuild campaigns and fix tracking first. |
| 6. Ongoing management | Weekly optimisation, monthly branded reports, and a shared Slack channel or email for requests. |
How we work with your team
- Slack and email. A shared Slack channel per partner, or email if you prefer, for briefs, approvals and quick questions.
- Calls as your team. When you ask, we join client calls as part of your agency, using your company name.
- Branded reports. Looker Studio dashboards and monthly reports with your logo and colours, in plain language your clients understand.
- Time zones. We are based in India, so much of our work happens while agencies in the US, UK and Australia are offline, and changes are ready for your morning.
- Response times. Agreed upfront in writing, so you can promise your clients the same.
- Confidentiality. We never contact your clients directly unless you ask, never put our name on their reports, and are happy to sign an NDA.
Tracking comes first
Most underperforming accounts we inherit have a measurement problem before they have a campaign problem: form fills counted twice, calls not tracked, sales never fed back to the ad platforms. Before optimising, we check and fix GA4, Google Ads conversions, the Meta pixel and Conversions API, and offline conversion imports from your clients' CRMs. It makes your agency's results more reliable and easier to defend in client meetings. See tracking and analytics.
Staying compliant with Google and Meta
Platform rules apply to agencies and their partners. Google's third-party policies require a separate Google Ads account for each end advertiser, honest descriptions of services, costs and expected results, and transparency about costs and management fees. Meta lets businesses share ad accounts and Pages with partners through business portfolios, with full control or partial access. We set up access and reporting so your agency stays within these rules while the day-to-day work stays white label. The platform pages explain the details for Google Ads and Meta ads.
White label marketing from India
Many agencies look for a white label partner in India for the combination of cost, skill and time zone coverage. What matters more than location is how the partner works: clear written processes, reliable communication, honest reporting and accountability for results. We work in English, keep agreed response times, and our reporting follows your client's currency, time zone and reporting week.
What we do not do
- Contact your clients directly without your agreement.
- Put our name or logo on anything your clients see.
- Promise results we cannot stand behind, which Google's policies also prohibit.
- Take on clients in industries or locations the platforms do not allow us to advertise for.

Frequently asked questions
What is a white label digital marketing agency?
It is an agency that delivers marketing services which another agency sells under its own brand. The reselling agency keeps the client and the pricing; the white label partner does the work in the background.
Will my clients know you are involved?
Not unless you want them to. Reports carry your branding, communication goes through your team, and when we join calls we do so as part of your agency.
Who owns the ad accounts?
Your client should own their ad accounts. Your agency manages them, and we work through the access you give us, so the client relationship stays with you.
How do you price white label work?
Usually a flat monthly fee per account, a percentage of ad spend with a minimum, or a setup fee plus a monthly fee. We quote after reviewing the accounts so you can price your retainer with a healthy margin.
Do you sign an NDA?
Yes. We are happy to sign an NDA before you share client details, and confidentiality is part of our partner agreement.
How do we communicate?
Through a shared Slack channel or email, with response times agreed upfront. We can also join client calls as part of your team.
Which services do you offer white label?
Paid media and the measurement behind it: Google Ads, Meta ads, conversion tracking and landing pages. We do not resell SEO or web design.
Do you work with agencies outside India?
Yes. Most of our agency partners are elsewhere, and we work across time zones in English, reporting in your client's currency.
