What is white label Google Ads management?
White label Google Ads management, sometimes called white label PPC, is when a specialist partner plans, builds and optimises Google Ads accounts for an agency's clients, and the agency sells and presents the service as its own. The agency keeps the client relationship and sets its own retainer; the partner does the hands-on work and supplies reports in the agency's branding.
Web Zodiac runs Google Ads accounts for businesses directly and behind the scenes for agencies. Our white label work covers every major Google campaign type, plus the conversion tracking that decides whether automated bidding works. For Facebook and Instagram, see white label Meta ads; for a full-funnel partnership, see white label performance marketing.
How white label Google Ads works
Account access the right way
Your client should own their Google Ads account. Your agency links it to your own Google Ads manager account, and adds our team members as users of your manager account. That way we work inside your setup, your client sees your agency's name, and if the partnership ever ends you simply remove our access. We do not ask clients to link accounts to a Web Zodiac manager account unless you want us to.
Google's rules for agencies and white label partners
Google's third-party policies apply to anyone who buys or manages Google advertising for clients. The parts that matter most for a white label setup:
| Requirement | What Google says | How we handle it |
|---|---|---|
| One advertiser per account | Use a separate Google Ads account for each end advertiser you manage | Every client keeps its own account; we never mix advertisers |
| Cost and performance data | Where reporting is required, include costs, clicks and impressions at account level, and report the exact amount charged by Google, excluding your fees | Our reports show Google's actual spend separately from your management fee, or your client can see their own account |
| Management fees | If you charge a management fee, inform clients clearly, in writing, before the first purchase and on invoices | Your agency sets and discloses its fee; we never bill your client |
| Customer IDs | Advertisers must be able to contact Google about a third-party partner | Your client's account and customer ID stay in their name |
| Honest claims | Avoid false, misleading or unrealistic claims about services, costs and results | We forecast with ranges and assumptions, never guarantees |
Being white label does not mean hiding costs from the client. It means your agency is the brand they deal with, while the reporting stays honest.

White label vs hiring a Google Ads specialist
| Hire in-house | Freelancer | White label partner | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cost structure | Salary, benefits, tools and training, paid whether or not you have clients | Hourly or per project | Fee per account, so cost grows only as you win clients |
| Time to start | Weeks or months to hire and train | Days, if someone is available | Days |
| Coverage | One person's skills and hours | One person, often across many clients | A team, with cover for holidays and sickness |
| Process and reporting | You build it | Varies by person | Set process, branded reports |
| Scaling up or down | Slow and costly | Limited by one person's time | Add or remove accounts as clients come and go |
| Best when | You have steady, high volume in one channel | You need occasional help | You want to sell paid media without building a department |
Pricing models
| Pricing model | How it works | Suits |
|---|---|---|
| Flat fee per account | One monthly fee for each client account, based on the work involved | Agencies that charge clients a fixed retainer |
| Percentage of ad spend | A share of the client's monthly ad spend, usually with a minimum fee | Larger or growing budgets |
| Setup plus monthly | A one-off fee to audit, rebuild and set up tracking, then a monthly fee | New accounts or accounts that need a rebuild |
| Project | A fixed price for an audit, a launch or a tracking setup | One-off needs, or testing a partnership |
We quote after seeing the accounts, because the work for a single-location service business is very different from a multi-country ecommerce store. Our fees leave room for your margin; use the calculator to check the numbers for your agency.
Onboarding
| Step | What happens |
|---|---|
| 1. Intro call | We learn how your agency works, your clients and how you want us to appear (fully invisible, or as part of your team on calls). |
| 2. Agreement and NDA | Scope, pricing, response times and confidentiality are agreed in writing. |
| 3. Access | You give our team access through your agency's own manager account or business portfolio, so the client relationship stays with you. |
| 4. Audit | We review each account, its tracking and landing pages, and share findings in your format. |
| 5. Plan and launch | You approve the plan with your client; we build or rebuild campaigns and fix tracking first. |
| 6. Ongoing management | Weekly optimisation, monthly branded reports, and a shared Slack channel or email for requests. |
How we work with your team
- Slack and email. A shared Slack channel per partner, or email if you prefer, for briefs, approvals and quick questions.
- Calls as your team. When you ask, we join client calls as part of your agency, using your company name.
- Branded reports. Looker Studio dashboards and monthly reports with your logo and colours, in plain language your clients understand.
- Time zones. We are based in India, so much of our work happens while agencies in the US, UK and Australia are offline, and changes are ready for your morning.
- Response times. Agreed upfront in writing, so you can promise your clients the same.
- Confidentiality. We never contact your clients directly unless you ask, never put our name on their reports, and are happy to sign an NDA.

Frequently asked questions
What is white label Google Ads management?
A specialist partner runs Google Ads accounts for an agency's clients, and the agency sells and presents the service under its own brand while keeping the client relationship and pricing.
Is white label Google Ads allowed by Google?
Yes, agencies and their partners can manage accounts for clients, as long as they follow Google's third-party policies: a separate account per advertiser, honest claims, transparency on costs and fees, and access for advertisers to their own data.
Do you need access to my manager account?
We recommend you add our team as users in your agency's Google Ads manager account, so your clients stay linked to your agency and you control access.
Will my clients know you are involved?
Not unless you want them to. Reports carry your branding, communication goes through your team, and when we join calls we do so as part of your agency.
Who owns the ad accounts?
Your client should own their ad accounts. Your agency manages them, and we work through the access you give us, so the client relationship stays with you.
How do you price white label work?
Usually a flat monthly fee per account, a percentage of ad spend with a minimum, or a setup fee plus a monthly fee. We quote after reviewing the accounts so you can price your retainer with a healthy margin.
Do you sign an NDA?
Yes. We are happy to sign an NDA before you share client details, and confidentiality is part of our partner agreement.
How do we communicate?
Through a shared Slack channel or email, with response times agreed upfront. We can also join client calls as part of your team.
